I have been reading (and writing) since I was a little girl. It helped me escape the trouble going on inside my home. It started with Where The Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein and morphed into different genres as I got older. I lost the hobby after high school, focusing on being a mother, but reading found its way back to me during the darkest times of my life.
